The personal lives of Mexican political figures have been the subject of great public interest for years. Recently, the mystery surrounding the paternity of Leonora, the daughter of the national leader of Morena, Luisa María Alcalde Luján, was resolved.
After a prolonged period of speculation, journalist Alberto Tavira confirmed that Zoé Robledo Aburto, current general director of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), is the father of the girl. The girl will carry the surname Robledo, and Zoé Robledo will be present in her life.
Leonora will be the daughter of Zoé Robledo and Luisa María Alcalde. On Zoé's side, she is the granddaughter of Eduardo Robledo Rincón, former governor of Chiapas, and on Luisa María's side, she is the niece of Bertha Alcalde Luján, current prosecutor of Mexico City.
With the birth of Leonora Robledo Alcalde, a new generation of power heirs in Mexico is added. Tavira mentions that Zoé Robledo has other children with Marifer Pariente, Julia and Camilo. Zoé's relationship with Marifer seems to be in an uncertain stage, generating rumors of a possible divorce.
Luisa María Alcalde has never married, although she had a long relationship with Emiliano Becerril Silva until around 2021.
Little Leonora is born into a family with a notable political heritage in Mexico.
